Sarona Asset Management’s vision is to be a leader in an industry where private capital is deployed to encourage entrepreneurship and growth while having a significant positive impact on social communities and the environment. Sarona has a long experience achieving triple bottom line targets: profit, people, planet.
Sarona is a private equity fund-of-funds. We aim to identify, select, access and add value to experienced and active General Partners based locally in frontier and emerging markets. Our objective is to build diversified portfolios that can return top quartile financial risk-adjusted returns to our investors while making a positive difference to our investee funds, companies and stakeholders.
Sarona's objective is to act as a bridge between private capital and growing, high quality, entrepreneurial small and medium sized companies in frontier and emerging markets. We do not believe there is a trade-off between investing well, generating attractive financial returns and having a positive impact on communities and environment in these markets. We have built a sustainable, scalable and robust business model based on 60 years of experience of investing in emerging markets under the banner of "Business Solutions to Poverty". It is our mission to always do more, better.
Sarona impact investments are investments intended to create positive impact beyond financial return. Sarona is currently supporting over 16,000,000 clients and 15,000 small to midsize companies in over 40 countries.
